Crit atk and crit dmg means WHEN you crit, it’s in the amount of crit atk and you gain the amount of dmg% and that is ur final damage if you crit. So if I want to see if an10% crit dmg item is better than you 50 crit atk item, you add 50 to atk while leaving everything else the same, and then reset and add 10% crit dmg to dmg% and compare.

Best stats for gunner equipment?
I know piercing is a big deal for everyone and of course physical piercing is amazing on gunner but are there other stats worth going for specifically for gunner?
Like, electric damage would be good wouldn't it since pretty much all your abilites when going EB build is all electric damage. People keep telling me bonus damage is better, but since 99.9999% of my damage is electric (only none electric is coming from rockets), wouldn't buffing my electric damage by 5% be better than 2.8% total damage?
Wouldn't attack speed be a good stat for gunners since we are trying to shoot out our EB shots as fast as possible?
Damage to boss's is known to be a good stat.w
Movement speed is obviously good on everyone
Anything else? Or like, any disagreements? I just want to talk about some stats gunners really want to go for since everyone is just screaming piercing.

Piercing is priority. Get that to max of 30% with procs included. Physical piercing should be maximum of 15% (easily achievable with physical piercing on weapon + gloves). After that boss damage has the highest possible rolls on equipment. If that's not possible ranged damage is a good alternative. If you get high rolls of dex/physical attack that's nothing to scoff at either since they directly impact damage.
Try not to go for elemental damages since they are specific to those elements only. Total damage stats are low rolls so not a priority.

Attack speed is great on Heavy Gunners. It affects everything including reload and your dash, so a 5% attack speed stat will be a solid 5% damage increase. Probably the stat that works best with Heavy Gunner rather than other classes since we have reload but I'm sure it's bad on the others that have to wait for spirit regen.

When talking about how long it takes for damage to be dished out with attack speed bonuses we can use a bit of algebra. This is the case when talking about speed/time and comparing how something like a journey is faster by a %:
(old attack speed) x time = (new attack speed) x new time
1 x time = 1.05 x new time
1/1.05 = new
If it would take 1 second to deal damage with normal attack speed, a 5% bonus would reduce this to 0.952 seconds to deal the same amount of damage. Other examples would be 25% attack speed bonus reducing time to 0.8 seconds, 50% to 0.667 seconds, 75% to 0.571 seconds, 100% to 0.5 seconds.

I never saw this reply so I didn't respond. But how is this formula used? If you attack once every second, with 125% Attack speed you'd hit 5 times in 4 seconds, which is a 25% increase right? - I'm only saying this because it has worked well for me personally but I mainly build electric and peircing with any other stats being attack speed and physical peice or boss damage
- Electric damage isn't bad for me either, especially considering that the only non-electric damage I do is Rocket Launcher. That being said, there are probably better damage options, but it certainly isn't the worst, probably above average.
- I'm running +23% Attack speed on Heavy Gunner, I have to say it is extremely fun and satisfying to play with especially with ECB, that 'clunky' feel is almost non existent. You do sacrifice other attributes like Boss damage etc etc but i feel the satisfaction of increase atk spd outweighs other stats haha, that's just me.
Hoping what yoyo say is true. With my +23% atkspd ecb build- I feel I out put a decent amount of damage.
